Western Disturbance to Hit North India The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Jammu & Kashmir from October 5 to 7, warning of heavy snowfall, rain, and strong winds due to a powerful Western Disturbance.

Affected Areas: Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Zojila Pass, Sinthan Top, Peer Ki Gali, Razdan Pass, Pahalgam, Jammu plains
