Mumbai Rain Highlights: Mumbai and Pune are set to witness continued heavy rainfall over the weekend, with the IMD forecasting generally cloudy skies and intense showers on both July 26 and 27. A red alert has been issued for Pune’s ghat regions, while Mumbai remains under an orange alert. Local train delays and traffic congestion were reported in Mumbai on Friday, and authorities have urged residents to plan travel with caution amid the ongoing monsoon surge.

Mumbai Weather Highlights: Mumbai and Pune are set to experience a wet weekend, with varying rainfall intensities forecast for both cities over the next few days. According to the India Meteorological Department’s 7-day forecast, Mumbai will continue to witness heavy rainfall on July 26 and 27, accompanied by generally cloudy skies. The city recorded 97 mm of rain in the past 24 hours, with temperatures hovering between 25°C and 29°C. Warnings have been issued for the next two days, urging residents to remain cautious, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas.

From July 28 onward, Mumbai is expected to receive moderate rain, easing slightly towards the end of the month.
